THE SPORTS
There has been an ongoing debate as to whether Boxing or MMA is the most popular brand of fighting. Since the success of UFC has grown, so has the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. Boxing has been around for centuries, and will always have a loyal following among its fans. For several years, both sports have been competing for exposure among TV and arenas throughout the US.
THE CONCEPT
Create an event that draws Boxing and MMA fans together for a night of both sports. The event consists of 12 Boxing matches and 4 MMA fights which totals 24 fighters. The fighters competing are local athletes only. Each fighter is required to promote and sell a minimum amount of tickets to the event. This ensures the casino a minimum amount of "potential players" coming to the casino that night from their local market.
THE EVENT
Bad Boy Fight Night is promoted as the first event that brings together Boxing & MMA for an action packed night of fights. Local fighters compete in specific weight classes with winners receiving prize money and championship belts. Bad Boy Dancers entertain the crowd in between fights to make the entire night an entertaining event.
